Do you dare explore Stubbings’ private grounds in the dark this Halloween?
Professor Fredericks, a Victorian para-psychologist (an expert in ghosts), will guide you on a journey with tales of ghosts and supernatural sightings. Join him on a walk around the grounds of the old Manor house to discover the surprises that await you. Included in the ticket price will be a light dinner in the Café, along with a 25-30 minute walk round the Stubbings’ private grounds.
Kids – Spooky Sausages, curly fries and baked beans, served with a glass of squash. Followed by an Eyeball Brownie with Blood Coulis and Vanilla Ice Cream.
Adults – Sausages, Colcannon Mash and Onion Gravy served with a glass of hot spiced fruit drink. Followed by an Eyeball Brownie with Blood Coulis and Vanilla Ice Cream.
(More drinks / alcoholic beverages will be available to purchase on the night. Vegetarian food options also available.)
Timings:-
1st Scare – Dinner at 6 pm with the walk at 6.45 pm
2nd Scare – Dinner at 6:45 pm with the walk at 7.30 pm
3rd Scare – Dinner at 7:30 pm with the walk at 8.15 pm (THIS WALK WILL BE FOR AGE 15 YEARS AND OVER)
Halloween Fancy dress is encouraged for children and adults.
A light dinner will be served in the Café, followed by a 25-30 minute Halloween Ghost walk round the grounds of the old Manor house.
Please arrive at least 5 minutes prior to your chosen start time, ready with your clothing and equipment for the walk (a torch is helpful).
The walk takes place around the grounds of the main house after dark so we would advise against booking for those with any mobility impairment. Sadly we are unable to accommodate dogs at this event.
Important information
Children must be supervised (no more than 2 children per adult). While the walk is not designed to be too scary, we do advise parents to consider suitability for their child. We recommend children should be over 5 years old and all participants must have a valid ticket for this event.

NB. The earlier walks are designed to be family-focussed. However, the third walk on each day will have a scarier theme, so we would strongly recommend this for 15 year old and over – please purchase an adult ticket for all participants, regardless of age for this walk.
