Join us for a spooky Halloween-themed trail through our nature reserve. Follow the story of the witch who lives deep in the nature reserve...if you’re brave enough!

Stretch your legs this half term and explore our beautiful nature reserve at one of the most picturesque times of year. This trail takes you on a circular route where you will learn about wildlife and help the witch brew her magic potion to turn herself into a fantastic creature. Can your little ones discover what amazing powers the witch will gain when the transformation is complete?

This self-guided trail follows a signposted route through our woods. The trail takes 1-1.5 hours to complete depending on dwell time at each panel. Pre-booking for this event is essential. Please note that most of the trail follows unsurfaced paths so may not be suitable for buggies or wheelchairs following periods of heavy rain. There are outdoor tables available should you wish to stay for a picnic lunch. All children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Useful info: The toilets and baby change will be open and there will be access to indoor area for tea and coffee and a craft making area.
